This eighth volume of John of St. Thomas’s Course of Theology continues his systematic Thomistic exposition of the moral and supernatural life, extending the treatment of the virtues into a more detailed analysis of the infused moral order, in continuity with Thomas Aquinas.

The work focuses on the cardinal virtues as elevated by grace, especially prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance.
